Lifegroups

Lifegroups are small home meetings where strong relationships are established and caring support of one another begins as Christ is honored in the life of each individual member. Individuals share in the challenge and adventure of discovering why we exist and how best to enjoy our lives. Those involved in Lifegroups are helped to find their place in the Body of Christ and to grow in God's will for their lives. Each member is given opportunity to develop their spiritual gifts and helped to make lifestyle applications. From this support group, each one is encouraged to serve the Lord by reaching out and helping others.

 

How Do Lifegroups Function?  Each week groups consisting of from eight to twelve or so people meet together at a group member's home. The format includes a discussion centered on a Biblical theme and a time for prayer and fellowship. Friendships are formed and everyone learns that they are not alone in this adventure called "LIFE."

 

A Word From our Pastor: "Learning how to live the Christian life takes time. By closely relating with other Christians, we learn how to live a life that is pleasing to God and to walk in right relationship with others. God wants each of us to live a life full of the abundance that He has provided for us in Jesus Christ. In small groups you can get involved, receive all that the Lord has for you, and make many new friends along the way! The Bible teaches us a paradox - 'it is more blessed to give than to receive.' As you become involved and deepen your faith in Christ, you will find joy in giving yourself to meet the needs of others."
